Areas of Focus

We have four primary projects or campaigns on which we focus our annual charitable giving.

01

Underprivileged Kitsap Student Campaign

We strive to sponsor 350 Kitsap students with backpacks and school supply kits annually. These gifts are usually distributed during our annual event each August. In order to serve the most in need, we are working to acquire Community Partnerships with School Districts throughout Kitsap County. These partnerships will ensure the confidentiality of community members.

02

Fight Against Kitsap Hunger Campaign

We are passionate about food insecurity. We strive to acquire as much food as possible through an annual food drive during our August events. Historically, we have joined Bremerton Backpack Brigade's fight against weekend hunger during the school year. We desire to do more. Thus, we are working to raise funds to provide generous charitable donations to local food banks or organizations like Bremerton Backpack Brigade.

Kitsap Youth Athlete Player Scholarship Campaign

Youth athletics is ever-increasing in cost. We desire to keep it available for the underprivileged in Kitsap County as we are passionate about healthy and constructive focused attention, especially for our youth. When our youth have valuable activities available to them, they thrive in other aspects of life. Thus, we work to raise funds to provide local youth sports organizations with scholarship dollars. We desire to grant two player scholarships per Pee Wee sport under KPAPWA, for a total of six annually. We will look at organizations outside of KPAPWA as well. Youth Sports Directors should inquire to learn how we can serve their underprivileged youth athletes.

04

Keeping Kitsap Youth Athletics Alive Project

With the current status of fewer and fewer youth athletes signing up for sports due to parental safety concerns, we strive to raise funds to offer local youth athletic organizations safety dollars. We desire to sponsor one organization annually with the stipulation that funds are allocated and used for player safety. Areas of safety include, but are not limited to, helmet recertification, coach training, equipment upgrades, facility repairs, field/facility security, etc. Youth athletic organizations in need of safety dollars should inquire to learn how to apply for the annual award.
